About Hoang
Hoang is a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, where he is building a new enterprise product.
He also leads Industry Solutions at the New Turing Institute and designs LLM courses at VietAI, co-founded by Thang Luong (Google DeepMind).
Previously, Hoang was a Senior Research Scientist at Snorkel AI, a spin-off from the Stanford AI Lab. He spearheaded LLM research, including being the lead author of an open-source LLM utilizing Iterative DPO Alignment, which ranked 2nd on the AlpacaEval leaderboard, outperforming frontier private LLMs.
Hoang has been invited to showcase his work at premier venues, such as presenting at NVIDIA GTC 2024 at Microsoft Azure’s booth and the AAAI Spring Symposium 2024 at Stanford.
